Women's Pensions

Are there any women out there who like myself, lost three years' state pension overnight in the recent Govt Spending Review, because they were born after April 1953?
If so, does anyone know of any organised protest about this?

There is a fairly militant pensioners' organisation called the National Pensioners Convention you could contact: npcuk.org
Although my partner and I are already in receipt of our old age pensions, we have many other concerns about the government's measures and their impact on pensioners, and will attend any demonstrations organised by the NPC, which has promised to let us know when they're coming up. Just ask to be put on their emailing list.
