May I congratulate the good Round Table folk for organising such a wonderfully vibrant Duck Race. I was visiting Hebden Bridge for the day from Sheffield and my goodness, I wasn't disappointed. I started off with a heart breakfast at The Old Gate. Then a superb lunch at The White Swan and such good value!

After a wander round dropped into Watergate tearooms for a splendid coffee and lemon drizzle cake then onto the race. Quacktastic or what? Finished off the day with a stupendous meal at The Vine italian restaurant which was glorious. Didn't want to go home! Will definitely be back and be spreading the word in Sheffield to all my friends and family about what a hidden gem Hebden Bridge is. Many thanks good folk of Hebden for such a brilliant day!
