Support local businesses hit by floods

The HebWeb has been asked to encourage people to support local businesses who are trying to get going again after the floods? Especially the small independent locally-owned businesses that make Hebden such a great place. They will need all the custom they can get!

Valley Organics have told us that they have a temporary home in Hope Baptist Chapel (kindly offered by the minister), open 10 till 5 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Their shop in Market Street won't be open for two or three months, whilst it is being dried out and refitted, so they are hoping that people will make a point of visiting them in the chapel.

If other businesses are opening in temporary premises, please let us know.
