Win tickets for Hebden Bridge Folk Roots Festival

Now in its third year, Hebden Bridge's Folk Roots festival is rapidly gaining national reputation and HebWeb readers can win two pairs of tickets for a gig of their choice over the weekend at the Trades Club which kicks off next Friday 8 November.

Kathryn WilliamsThe organisers have pulled off a coup booking fiercesome live act The Demon Barbers for a rare headline show in an intimate venue on Friday, Jez Lowe reunites his Bed Pennies for a full band show on Saturday and proceedings are brought to a close on Sunday with Mercury Prize nominated singer /songwriter Kathryn Williams playing tunes from her new album.

Steve TilstonThe festival always books an eclectic line up reflecting the diverse folk movement so there's sets from Hebden Bridge based Steve Tilston with his trio, Wakefield's punk /folk queen Louse Distras who appeared with Billy Bragg at Glastonbury and songstress Patsy Matheson who has just been added to the bill.

To win a pair of tickets all you have to do is email us the title of Kathryn Williams' new album and the gig you want to go to by 12 noon on Thursday.
