Hebden Royd Bye-election and co-option

Friday, 10 November 2017

Caldene ward vacancy: Bye-election on 23 November

Labour councillor Robin Dixon has resigned because he is moving out of the area. The HebWeb understands that an election was called by the Conservative Party, whose candidate (Richard Marshall) then failed to get his paperwork in on time. The Party therefore had no candidate to contest the election.

On Thursday, 23 November, voters in the Caldene Ward will however be able to choose between Stephne Harrison (Liberal Democrat) and Barnaby Neale (Labour Party)

Cragg Vale ward vacancy: Council to co-opt
