Appeal For Witnesses!
On 3rd November 2017, at the Heptonstall Bowling Club Bonfire, a local teacher was struck by firework debris resulting in permanent damage to her eye and, in the long–term, the risk of blindness.
We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen or recorded the firework debris falling into the crowd. And who can comment on your distance of the firework display from the crowd, or the actual incident itself.
