The New Mytholmroyd Gala

Following the previous committee's decision to step down, a group of local residents decided to kick start the Mytholmroyd Gala adding the Prefix “New”, with a view to putting on a more scaled back village fete style event.
After many successful open meetings and with the full backing of the local community plus grant funding from our partners from Hebden Royd Town Council, Calderdale and Luddendenfoot Ward forum plus help from the VBA, Burnley Road Academy and the Co-Op.
We look forward to bringing you a celebration of everything Mytholmroyd, its makers, producers and charities with food, music and games for all the family (and a few surprises too).
Despite all the good news something was bound to give and, despite our best efforts sadly the Parade will not be happening this year. Given the works going on in the centre of the village any further disruption would have been difficult to justify.
We look forward to seeing you on the day and hope you enjoy the first New “Old” Mytholmroyd Gala.”
