Martin Wainwright of The Guardian today opened the 8th summer sculpture trail at Hardcastle Crags. He told those assembled at Gibson Mill that he was not used to opening events, but made an exception for those which involved walking a mile. He said the Sculpture Trail was part of a great tradition of Yorkshire sculpture which included both Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. He found the use of "deconstructed second hand materials very Hebden Bridge.
