Calder High GCSE success

The Government has today published the GSCE tables for secondary schools.

Calder High students scored excellent results this year with 61% of students receiving grades to A-C making it the highest achieving non-selective school in Calderdale. This is nearly ten per cent better than the national average and compares with 52% last year and just 44% in 2001.

The value added results are better as well with a score of 100.6 compared with only 97.4% last year.
