Littering the Hebden Water Wednesday, 13 June 2007 Update: Jason Boom, Environmental Community Warden has now told the Hebden Bridge Web that the Hebden Water debris at Salem has now been cleared up. Thanks to the help of Geoff, a local land owner and John, the chairman of the Cricket club it was all off site by 1pm yesterday. Jason adds "During the removal of the debris a gentleman called Jack came up and claimed the tractor tyre. It was a pity he was only 2 and had no means of transport." Tuesday, 5 June 2007 Update: Jason Boom, Environmental Community Warden informs the Hebden Bridge Web that furniture, tyre etc and the rubbish/glass etc will be cleaned up as part of Calder Futures River Day this Saturday. If people want to join us please come along to the Bridge on Spring Grove at 1pm.
