Trades Club launches Saturday afternoon kids' fun sessions

Wednesday, 21 January 2009

The Trades Club continues to expand its activities and is launching Saturday afternoon fun sessions for kids with a percentage of ticket sales going to support Hebden Bridge’s Steiner education community.

The first session on Saturday January 24th features two comedy Kids Stuff Magic shows from top children’s entertainer Mr Jon who promises a mix of balloonology, face painting and the chance to find out how to look after family pets with live animals.

Parents can put their feet up with a sandwich and coffee from the café plus a dizzying array of home made cakes that are guaranteed to ruin anyone’s New Year diet.

The good news in the midst of the credit church is that kids who watch the first show at 3.30pm can stay for the second free of charge.

“The Trades is at the hub of the community so we’re delighted we can join forces with the Hebden Bridge Steiner Community to offer high quality afternoons of fun and learning for children of all ages,” says Trades Club spokesperson Paul Clarke.

Under two’s get into the shows for free and it’s £4.50/£3.50 concessions for children over two. Doors open at 3pm and tickets are available from the club on 01422 845265 or boxoffice@tradesclub.info.
