Betting licence

We are neighbours in a South London street who have succesfully opposed a betting licence.We came across your bulletin board in an internet search of other communities in opposition to betting licences. The original application was made at a local Magistrates Court and we were succesfull in our opposition under Sch 1 Para 19(b)(1) of the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963. The Betting organisation appealed and yesterday in Crown Court a group of citizens were succesfull in their opposition. Needless to say the Betting shop was represented by a full legal team.
