I live in Todmorden and travel to work by car through Hebden Bridge every day on my way to Halifax. I am sick and tired of an extra 10 to 15 miniutes each way being added to my journey by the traffic congestion within the centre of hebden Bridge. I think serious consideration should be made by the Highways Agency to creating a Hebden Bridge by-pass. This would ease traffic within Hebden Bridge for both locals and tourists and save myself and thousands of others half an hour a day of misery. I am sure such a scheme would be very popular and with proper planing and consultation could surely be implemented within 5 years.
