: For what it's worth, here's what I would like to see done with the dyeworks site.

I would like it to go back to being a dyeworks, or some other sort of works where raw materials can be turned into useful and valuable products which can be sold for profit.

Trouble is this will never happen. Industry just isn't welcome in Hebden Bridge any more. Witness the way a long-established firm like Oldfield Watson can be hounded out of town to make way for tourism.
