New Delight

I was very sad to find the New Delight closed the other day, it was a great pub. But the fact was, not enough people went there. I was regularly in there and never found the place very busy. Im sure we will now hear a load of moaning, but people should ask themselves what are they actually doing to help. Using the pubs and making them viable businesses is the only way of keeping them open. These landlords have bills to pay. The landlord tried very hard with this pub, it was clean, welcoming, served good food and beer, and was easy to get to (yes it was on a regular bus route). So yes, its sad it has gone but certainly in this case the pub closed through lack of custom, nothing more.
