New Delight

Robert, there have already been three serious offers made to the owners of The New Delight by private buyers. All three have been told the pub is not for sale!

One of these potential buyers has stated that he will write to the paper to refute the landlords claims that there has been no interest, so keep reading letters to the editor. (The Hebden Bridge Times this week also confirms that the owners have now taken the pub off the market),the current owners obviously want to live in it as their home with a view to achieving change of use, rather than selling it as a pub. Can anyone think why that is?

As private owners have made a huge success of the pub as recently as three years ago, why are you sure that no-one will make a success of it when others obviously have?
