Dusty Miller.
Posted by Philip Macdougall, Monday, September 23, 2002We come to HB about 3 or 4 times a year, from Manchester, to have a drink or two, and sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Much better view than the estates in Manchester. However, leaving the motorway,we came in through Mytholmroyd and stopped off, quite recently at the Dusty Miller, but was totally astonished to find the place was more like the "Dirty Miller". The window sills or the windows couldn't have been cleaned for a long time, and within 10 minutes we supped up and left. But the fact is that this is a pub with folklore on its side, and should be treated better. Clean the place up, put up a plaque or something on the wall outside, and then the pub might find itself with a few more patrons.
