Lindsay Rimer case: Guardian item |
Wednesday, October 23, 2002 Today's Guardian reports that detectives yesterday formally re-arrested John Taylor (convicted of murdering Leanne Tiernan) and files are being re-opened on the murders of (amongst others) "a 13 year old girl in Hebden Bridge". Police are cross referencing the attacks with Taylor's work as a delivery driver. Last night's Halifax Courier carried a piece about how the Rimer family were still looking for answers. November 7 will be the eighth anniversary of the disappearance and murder of 13 year old Lindsay. Geri Rimer is reported as saying that the investigation by police into Lindsay's murder is still very active. See our previous news item.
