As the proposed war against Iraq appears to be drawing closer, opposition to the war is growing in Hebden Bridge. Above is the protest in St George's Square this morning.

On Thursday, 21st November there is a Benefit for Peace at the Trades Club with the Peace Artistes, The Silsden Singers and the Rhythmbridge Foundation.

Every Monday between 5 and 6pm there is a Peace Vigil outside the Tourist Information Centre.
