'Mill' is the latest project of local artist/filmmaker Jenny Holt.

Abandoned, rotting, demolished or redeveloped for residential use, the film is a documentation of all former textile mill sites in the Hebden Bridge valley.

Juxtaposing these images from today with archive material from the turn of the last century, the film considers the tension between the past and present, and the changing
definition of our landscape and towns.

Jenny is looking for people who may have worked in textile
manufacture in Hebden Bridge to describe working life in the mills for the film. She is also looking for someone who lived locally to or worked in Acre Mill, Old Town, to contribute.

The interview would be used as voice-over only and you wouldn't have to appear in the film!
