Although it is small, it has trees, a pond, a small playing field and flowerbeds.

It has been used for over sixty years by the neighbourhood for recreation and an annual bonfire.

Local residents want to ensure that the use of the land as an open space for all to enjoy, is protected and are applying to Calderdale Council to have it registered as a village green.

They have raised money to help pay for advice to ensure that our application is accepted by Calderdale as soon as possible.
