| New Year's Day Walk 2010: The 33rd annual New Year's Day walk from Booth near Jerusalem Farm over the tops to The Robin Hood in Pecket Well. Organiser Julian Harber told the Hebden Bridge Web that the walk sometimes attracts as many as sixty people and that for many years they ended up at the Mount Skip Inn. When that closed, the Hare and Hounds in Old Town was their destination. Recently, they have gone that little bit further to Pecket Well. Julian said he had only missed one year - when he was on holiday in New Zealand. |
