After yet another review of broadband services BT have started to take pre-registrations for broadband in the Calder Valley and will enable the exchange when enough people (a number unspecified) have pre-registered.

If you now visit the "availability checker" on the BT website there is also a link to monitor the number of pre-registerees for the exchange by way of a "Blue Peter Appeal like" thermometer.

All we need to do now is pre-register and start haranguing BT when the numbers start mounting up.
