"I had a meeting with Tim O'Sullivan, the Parliamentary Liaison Officer for BT in London to discuss the availablity of broadband in the entire Calder Valley.

As you are aware, Hebden Bridge will be enabled within the next few months due to a new technology, exchange linking, that is cheaper to provide and thus lowers trigger levels.

I have made enquiries with BT to see if a trigger level will be set and to ask whether this new technology would be suitable for the Calder Valley Exchange, which serves Mytholmroyd.

I have been working hard in the last year to press for broadband provision throughout the Calder Valley and please be assured that I shall do my best to ensure that Mytholmroyd has broadband as soon as possible."
