Home-grown artists make an exhibition of themselves

Artists from Mytholmroyd, Cragg Vale and Midgley will be showing what a talented lot they are when they exhibit work as part of the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival.

The Mytholmroyd Art Exhibition, at St Michael’s Church, will also include a retrospective of paintings by the late Frank Bentley and a demonstration of painting techniques by Valerie Jordan.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday, July 1 and 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, July 2. Much of the work on display will also be for sale. Refreshments are being supplied by the St Michael’s Wives Group and Guild.
