from your elbow?

Radio 4’s perennial favourite, Gardeners’ Question Time, gets the West Yorkshire makeover next month.
A panel of green-fingered experts will be taking on an audience of gardeners at the radio programme-styled event, being held in the renowned Land Farm gardens at Colden near Hebden Bridge.
Land Farm, noted for its azaleas and Himalayan lilies, has featured on Gardener's World.
In the chair will be energetic allotment gardener, toad-fancier and gardening columnist Kerry McQuade. She will be assisted by berberis expert Julian Harber, by professional gardener and designer Helen Blackwood and by biologist and Land Farm garden designer John Williams.
Gardeners’ Question Time is on July 4 and starts at 4pm with a tour of the four-acre gardens, 1,000ft above sea level. The question and answer sessions starts at 5.15pm.
The event is just one of more than 80 Hebden Bridge Arts Festival happenings.
Programmes and booking forms are available from the festival office on Albert Street, Hebden Bridge or by calling 01422 842684. Details and regular news bulletins can also of course be found here at www.hebdenbridge.co.uk/festival.
