The Art of IIlustration
From Richard and Judy to a twisty take on the Tarot;
from powerful charcoal landscapes to witty weirdness,
A Thousand Words exhibits stunning works by 10
nationally renowned illustrators, using painting,
drawing, collage and print.
Artists include Annie B, Samuel Bell, Glyn Brewerton,
Matt Murphy, Marc Renshaw, Sue Robson, Squid,
Andy Steward and Steve Wilkin
Nadia Sparham
Folk art, nature….and mechanics. Nadia Sparham takes her inspiration from all of these and creates a distinctive style.
She uses drawing, collage and CAD to create
beautifully handcrafted cushions and ceramics.
Her work as a designer-maker is based on the value of
craftsmanship, and she takes a stand against the
economic inequities and environmental impact of mass
production.
