From Richard and Judy to a twisty take on the Tarot; from powerful charcoal landscapes to witty weirdness, A Thousand Words exhibits stunning works by 11 nationally renowned illustrators, who use
paint, drawing, collage or printing techniques.

Artists are Annie b., Samuel Bell, Chris Harper, Glyn Brewerton, Matt Murphy, Marc Renshaw, Sue Robson, Squid, Andy Steward, Kirsty Colville and Steve Wilkin.

Postal booking for the 40-plus performances and workshops is now open. The box office on Albert Street opens on June 14.

The 2008 Festival runs from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, July 13.
