Nominations close soon for Hebden Royd Town Council

Eighteen Hebden Royd council seats are up for election on 5th May but nominations must be in by Monday, 4th April. There will not be a similar opportunity for another 4 years.
We will also have the opportunity to elect one of the three Calderdale councillors who represent each of the Calder and Luddenden wards, and to vote on the referendum on election reform.
Notice of Election - Township of Hebden Royd
Election of Town Councillors for the following wards:-
BIRCHCLIFFE, CALDENE, CRAGG VALE,
FAIRFIELD, WEST END, WHITE LEE
An election is to be held of three Town Councillors for each of the said wards.
Nomination papers must be delivered to the Electoral Services Unit, Westgate House, Westgate, Halifax, HX1 1PS on any day after the date of this notice (except for Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays), but not later than noon on Monday 4 April 2011.
Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the Electoral Services Unit, Westgate House, Westgate, Halifax, HX1 1PS at the request of any elector for the electoral ward, prepare a nomination paper for signature.
If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 5 May 2011.
