Following their triumphant sell-out
performance at the 2002 Festival, we are
delighted to welcome back the monks from
Tashi Lhunpo. They bring a programme of
dances, music and chants, which illustrate
the full range and diversity of this
astonishing culture. The monastery
(established in South India following the
Chinese occupation of Tibet) is famous for
its unique traditions of masked dances and
sacred music.
