Pete Morton, Maggie Boyle and
Chris Parkinson
The Waterside Room, Hebden Bridge Town Hall
8pm to 10.30pm
£9 (£7)
Pete Morton: vocal, guitar. ‘not only impressive but a
revelation......totally original’ (The Guardian)
Maggie Boyle: vocal, flute, bodhran. ‘a voice the
angels would kill for’ (Rock ‘n Reel)
Chris Parkinson: accordion, harmonica, vocal.
‘probably the best accordionist in the world …and
he’s touring with us!’ (Maggie and Pete)
This is a high-flying combination: a singer/
songwriter extraordinaire, a superb traditional
singer and one of the folk scene’s most sought-after
instrumentalists. Pete, Maggie & Chris all excel in
their own departments. Together they deliver a richly
textured collection of vibrant new songs, beautiful
old songs and stunning instrumentals – plus all three
voices in three-part harmony... and they have a great
time doing it. Superb acoustic music!
