Local Forest School expands

Monday, 3 December 2012

Tinderwood Trust, which has been delivering Forest School for nearly 7 years in the upper Calder Valley and beyond have moved into another new site.

The organisation has developed a good working relationship with a local land owner to create a new Forest School site, near to 2 of their existing sites developed alongside the National Trust, earlier in the year and in addition to their site in Eastwood.

At the new site Family Woods sessions will run every Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm where children over 4 can play out wild with their parents and build dens, climb trees, dig, tell stories and soo many other things too.

The site will also be hosting projects with schools and early years settings as well as providing a new off grid training venue, which is definitely on the rustic side of chic!

If you would like to find out more visit their website for all the info you could possibly want. Go and play out soon.
