Help stop Autumn leaves blocking drains

Autumn has well and truly landed and the Town Council is asking for your help! If you have noticed leaves and debris starting to pile up in your garden, they recommend that you sweep the leaves away and recycle them in an appropriate manner to ensure that they can’t get blown into your drainage system.
Not only does this protect your drains, but it protects the drains of other people who live in your area too and helps to reduce localised flooding. A quick sweep of a brush is often all it needs to help the water flow freely away.
