Neighbourhood Manager/ Deputy Clerk

Hebden Royd Town Council is looking to recruit a proactive individual to develop, establish and provide leadership on regeneration and community projects within the parish.

Applicants would be expected to clerk committees as designated and in the absence of the Clerk assume the roles and responsibilities of that office.

POST GRADE: Scale LC2 (SCP 26-29) [?22,221 - ?24,646]

The successful applicant will hold a degree or have equivalent experience and be experienced in working with community groups, local authority agencies and other appropriate partners. Experience in sourcing funding for public initiatives and economic regeneration along with sound project management skills and strong communication skills are essential. Excellent organisational skills and a commitment to training are also seen as essential requirements.

Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for which time off in lieu can be taken.
