Burnley Road School prepares Christmas boxes for troops in Afghanistan

Tuesday, 2 November 2010

Burnley Road School in Mytholmroyd will be collecting either a shoe box containing the following items or any of the following items that can be boxed up at school.

Sweets - mints, gum type sweets, chewing gum. nuts, crisps, any noodles, cappuccino coffee in boxes, biscuits, roll on deoderant, bic razors, lip balm, vaseline in plastic or tin containers, toothpaste, shaving gel, baby wipes, shower gel, travel games - cards, dominoes motor magazines.

Please send as soon as possible as it takes a month for items to get there - we are aiming for an absolute deadline date of 11th November. A letter inside would be much appreciated (a bit of normality for the troops) but please put the school address not personal addresses for replies.
