Trades ClubTotal Stone Roses kick off weekend at the Trades

Wednesday, 3 August 2011

Total Stone RosesThe spirit of Madchester comes to the valley as the Total Stone Roses recreate the hits of the indie legends at the Trades Club on Friday.
The band are all top flight Leeds College of Music graduates in their early twenties, and their blend of passion, charisma and swagger has build a loyal fan base over the last year.

Their set meticulously recreates the look and sound of the Roses from their early 'Sally Cinnamon' days through the genius of their seminal debut album to their Top Ten single 'Fool's Gold'.

Todstock kicks off this weekend and to celebrate the club is hosting an after-party on Saturday as Trades favorites MADM take on Leeds crew The Beats Bizarre.

MADM residents KeyLo & dR $Icknote will be playing out alongside the electro swing sounds of Wolfie & Magiclantern from The Beats Bizarre taking things more Techy.

"As the lingering bitterness between Stone Roses members means they will never get back together then we're pleased to welcome four Leeds lads who brilliantly recreate all the elements that made the originals so great," Trades Club spokesperson Paul Clarke told the Hebden Bridge Web.

"Todstock goes from strength to strength and we're delighted to host the after party, especially as our most popular night MADM are having a mash up with DJs from Leeds."
