Peter Harvey of Studio Seven to retire

Peter originally opened Studio Seven in 1983 to showcase the work of his late parents, the drawings and paintings of Geoffrey Coning, and the Ceramic Cartoons of Margaret Coning.

Before he went on to Art College, Peter had been taught the craft of picture framing by the late Alice Longstaff, in her attic workshop at West End, Hebden Bridge.

Studio Seven developed into a thriving Art Shop and picture framing business. The shop has also been a venue for many artists to display and sell their work.

Peter, who has now reached the age of 65, has decided to retire in order to pursue his own creative interests, and going for long walks with his wife, Jane.
