Becky Unthank interview - The Unthanks at the Picture House
The Unthanks: 5-6 December, Hebden Bridge Picture House
"We play a lot in Yorkshire, particularly West Yorkshire, but something always draws us back to Hebden, because the audience are always amazing and it always feels warm and lovely to play there."
So says local resident Becky Unthank as she prepares to play two concerts at the Picture House celebrating the work of Antony and the Johnsons and Robert Wyatt.
They are the only two gigs the Unthanks are playing in Yorkshire on their winter tour and you can find out more here about why they've chosen Hebden for these unique concerts.
They have also released a live album of a London show from last year celebrating the work of these two great artists, and here's what the Guardian had to say about it
The gigs are on Monday 5 December and Tuesday 6 December are being promoted by the Trades Club who have a long standing friendship with the band. Tickets priced £15 for Trades Club members and £17.50 are available from the club or via www.wegottickets.com.
But hurry as there aren't many left.
