A job for a refugee

Hi I've been asked if I could help a woman called Daria who is a refugee currently in Europe. She's a skilled machinist with a fashion degree and was working for a company making clothes and developing her own fashion line. If we could find her a job I could go agead and sponsor her. Any thoughts? Thank you x

In The Bee Hive Mill, behind The Co-op, there's a small business which hires sewing machinists. I think they make things like tents. I can't remember the name but the folk I met there seemed very kind and helpful. Hope thats useful.

Apparently Patrick Grant (Sewing Bee) has a clothing factory in Blackburn that is currently hiring across a number of disciplines. The company is called Community Clothing, but that's all I know. Might be worth contacting them.
