We were in Hebden Bridge on Saturday. We stopped on St Georges Bridge for a minute or so to check directions and we were asked to get off the bridge because somebody was having wedding photos taken.

I was pretty annoyed by this but I was with somebody else and didn't want to make a fuss at the time.

The person who told us to get off had an official looking tag around their neck but I think in retrospect it was probably just intended to make them look like they were a council official.

At least, I hope so, because if that was a council official then I am pretty angry. This is a public thoroughfare as far as I know, and if you want to close it to the public for photos then a Saturday lunchtime in July probably isn't the best time to do it!
