Element Jewellery relaunch on 1 August
Tuesday, 28 July 2020
When the owners of Element Jewellery announced that they were selling the business, local entrepreneurs Mark and Debbie Coup quickly stepped in to purchase it.
From its prime high street location, Element is well-known for its innovative displays, offering distinct pieces of bespoke jewellery, wedding, engagement and eternity rings, contemporary jewellery and a range of watches. Element also undertakes repair and restoration work and jewellery valuations.
Mark and Debbie took over the business from 28 July, retaining the popular existing staff team of Ali Haley and Madeleine Hoyle, overseen by Dawn Swinden and now ably assisted by Eileen Kelly on the marketing/ administration side. The shop will have a fresh new look, new ideas and plenty of new jewellery, whilst maintaining the pedigree that has made it so successful.
Mark said, "As a residents of Hebden Bridge and clients of Element, when we heard that the business was up for sale, we put in an offer very quickly as we knew that such a successful business with a distinctive presence on the high street wouldn't be on the market for long".
Mark and Debbie have lived in Hebden Bridge for 16 years. They have three grown-up children of their own and have been foster carers for many years. Their other business interests in Hebden Bridge include Welcome Independent Living, a domiciliary care company, and Silver Birches, a supported living home.
They would love to see you on Saturday 1 August (Yorkshire Day) for their Covid-19 friendly launch event or any other time that you're free!
