Chris Dobrowolski: Antarctica

In an attempt to escape from art college, Chris Dobrowolski built a boat from driftwood and tried to sail it across the River Humber. He failed. In his ongoing attempt to escape the art world he recently undertook an artist's residency in the Antarctic and tried to make a sledge from gold picture frames.

Using images, film and anecdotes of homemade vehicles, Chris will tell the story of his efforts to make art whilst everyone around him is trying to save the planet.
