Last night the volunteers of the Calder Valley Search and Rescue team spent several hours overnight rescuing the passengers of a car that had been stuck in severe snowdrifts on the road over Oxenhope Moor (A6033) since Saturday lunch time.
It's down to their skill and hard work that these people were lucky enough to have survived in what were extreme conditions. Details and photographs are on here.
Big round of applause is deserved by these dedicated volunteers. We're extremely lucky to have them as a resource in our area.
