I haven't seen it covered here but it should be noted following previous posts that the BBC extended their national DAB coverage to the Hebden Bridge transmitter in June this year (without much of a fanfare).

Other transmitters have opened at Todmorden and Luddenden which should give pretty good coverage up and down the valley.

This will not include and local radio because even BBC local radio is added to the local commercial multiplexes and there appears to be no plans for Digital 1 to add the national commercial networks (eg Classic FM) to the transmitter.

An oddity of the DAB system is that you can't tell which transmitter you are receiving, but if you live in the valley bottom a service has arrived!
