Mobile coverage

Am I the only EE customer in Hebden Bridge with no mobile coverage today, or is the local transmitter down? A friend suggested calling EE customer service - but you can't do that if your mobile isn't working and my SIM card doesn't allow me to connect to other networks.

Most phone companies have a 'network status' web page. Looking at the EE one it does look as though there's a known problem in the HX7 area.

I use EE and it's been mostly fine. I get good 4G coverage in most of the upper valley. I even get a signal at the Blue Pig these days.
There is one very useful trick to be aware of - if you have a relatively modern phone and decent home broadband you can use Wi-Fi calling. This allows your phone to make and receive calls via your Wi-Fi router and it works a treat.
