Floodstock

Monday, 16 July 2012

Slightly Foxed Brewery have annouced Floodstock, a blues festival to be held at Mytholmroyd community centre on the 1st September in aid of Calder Valley Flood victims.

We wanted to hold the event in Mytholmroyd to help highlight the fact that it was not just Hebden Bridge that was affected by the floods and to bring the wider community of the Calder Valley together to help raise money for those affected.

We have 3 acts currently lined up to play with others in the pipeline all of which are performing free of charge one of the acts already committed to performing is coming all the way from Brighton. Having played at the recently hugely successful Hebden Bridge Blues Festival they were all to happy to come back and support the area.

Slightly Foxed Brewery are to produce a special beer called Slightly Flooded.

All the money raised from ticket sales and sales of the beer on the day will go to the Flood victims fund.

Further details can be found on our Facebook page Floodstock a fundraiser in aid of Calder Valley Flood Victims.
