Order your Hanging Baskets!

Thursday, 7 April 2016

This year it is probably more important than ever to help make Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge look good. Each year over 300 baskets and flowers are put up across the two towns, and as summer gets in full swing the baskets become overflowing with colour and make the towns bloom.

The hanging basket scheme is organised by Hebden Royd Town Council but its success is owed to the support of the many businesses that buy individual hanging baskets to place outside their premises. These account for around two thirds of the total baskets and planters.

Hebden Royd Town Council say that the scheme is all about creating a sense of pride in the town, "to further enhance the beautiful town that we all love, for all to enjoy."

Hanging Baskets

Now is the time for businesses in the centre of Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd to take part in the scheme. In an effort to support local businesses, this year baskets are priced at just £20+VAT each. The price includes an attractive 18 inch basket filled with plants, the fixing of a heavy duty bracket if required, installation early June and take down early October with watering twice per week throughout the summer. This is a one off flood recovery price, this year only, which will hopefully encourage businesses to buy baskets and to help restore the towns to their rightful glory.

If you would like to make your business look more attractive without having to worry about the care of the baskets, then join the Hebden Royd Hanging Basket Scheme. Contact Emma on 01422 842181, or at emma@hebdenroyd.org.uk for more details.
