Safer homes for birds, bugs and bicycles

Earlier in the year Friends of Hebden Bridge Station smartened up the 10 cycle lockers at the station by painting the sides and front and cleaning out all the detritus inside.
Due to some vandalism, people seemed reluctant to use the lockers even though there is CCTV so the group have now repaired and reinforced the cycle lockers. All that remains to do is to scrub the green off the roofs – any volunteers?
Some more bird boxes have been put up around the station and the Friends are also hoping the bug boxes will help various creatures to keep cosy in the cold winter weather.
