Handmade Parade Presents a Masquerade Ball

Do you want to shake off the winter blues with a grand and glamorous splash of red?

Handmade Parade has announced plans to hold a fundraising Masquerade Ball in Hebden Bridge in time for Valentine’s Day.

Saturday 10 February

The Red Spectacular Masquerade Ball will be held on Saturday 10th February at Hebden Bridge Town Hall at 7.30pm until late.

Guests are being asked to wear their most glamourous evening attire and join Handmade Parade in an evening that will help raise funds to allow the community owned organisation to continue to work with schools, refugees and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Entertainment will be provided by the extraordinary headline act The Black Sheikhs playing vintage jazz style pop and rock to dazzle and delight with their contagious zeal!

Executive Director Kathleen McGrath explains, "Funding for organisations like ours is getting more and more difficult to get. We now need to ask our community for some support to continue the amazing work we do. We are asking people who have enjoyed our parades, and who can see the benefit we bring to the people in our area, to dig deep and come enjoy a magnificent evening with us. Whether for romance or for an evening event never seen before, please support us and buy a ticket or three! Proceeds from this event will go directly making opportunities for vulnerable, isolated and disadvantaged families and individuals.

Upon arrival

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a drinks reception in the reception bar where you can cast your eyes over a host of luxury prizes to be won throughout the night, and take in the stunning decor and light installations created in the bespoke Handmade style. Throughout the night there will be a fully licensed bar, music and entertainment.

Dress Code: Think style, think quality, think red for valentines, think formal, think vintage and above all else think masquerade.

Handmade Parade will deliver mask making workshops on Wednesday  31st   January and Thursday 1st February at Egg Factory on a first come first served basis – booking through – see Eventbrite for details

The Red Spectacular Masquerade Ball will be held on Saturday 10th February at Hebden Bridge Town Hall at 7.30pm until late.

Tickets are £47.90 and can be bought at Eventbrite.
