Duck Race: Where Does Your Money Go?

During the weekends in April, members of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge will be in St Georges’ Square, Hebden Bridge selling tickets for the fabulous annual Duck Race on Easter Monday.

On display will be a Shelter Box, of the kind that they regularly send to disaster spots around the world - they recently financed several boxes to Mozambique to act as some relief from the Cyclone and Flooding.

Also, on the stall will be listings of the many charities and good causes, local, national and international which they are proud to support.

The annual duck race will take place on Easter Monday 22nd April.  This will once again be supported by Jet2holidays and The Travel Centre. Mytholmroyd. First prize, will be a holiday to Disneyland Paris.

The duck race is a family orientated event attracting vast numbers into the town, with entertainment, charity stalls and of course a fantastic array of food.
